Dr. Ravikiran S. Yedidi founded The Center for Advanced-Applied Biological Sciences & Entrepreneurship (TCABS-E) in 2019 with Rajamahendravaram, India as the headquarters. In 2020, TCABS-E Visakhapatnam was founded and established. Loved by students and faculty alike, he has been teaching with knowledge, enthusiasm and joy for more than 15 years in USA, Canada and India. He obtained his M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Andhra University, India and M.S. in Molecular Biotechnology from Wayne State University, USA. He then obtained a doctorate in Biochemistry with special focus on pre-clinical Drug Discovery and Structural Biology from the Wayne State Medical School, USA. Followed by his doctorate, Dr. Yedidi was appointed as a visiting fellow at the U.S. National Institutes of Health after which he moved to Canada and worked at the University of Toronto. He founded The Yedidi Institute of Discovery and Education (TyiDE) in Toronto, Canada in 2017 with a focus on Alzheimer's research. In 2018 he was appointed as the Structural Biology team lead (Scientist-F) at inStem, India where he realized that quality of Indian biomedical research training should improve to global standards that led him to start TCABS-E.
